About the Ride

Five hundred and five riders registered for this year's event with 491 riding in near perfect weather.   The riders rode a total of 36,555 miles with no accidents!  Eighty-five percent of the riders were from the Albuquerque area followed by 11% from the Santa Fe area.  Eleven riders were from outside New Mexico.  The average age was 50 with the oldest rider being 80 and the largest age group being 51 - 60.  Sixty percent of the riders were male and 40% female.  For comparison, back in 1982,  there were 681 riders, the average age was 30, 74% were male, and 26% were female.
